Real Vocal String Quartet

Real Vocal String Quartet is violinists Alisa Rose and Irene Sazer, violist Dina Maccabee, and cellist Jessica Ivry. The group embraces diverse influences from classical, jazz, and rock, to songs and styles from West Africa, Brazil, and rural America. Strings Magazine describes them as a "polished string-quartet playing with haunting, expressive singing." Their second album will be released September 2012.
