Pete Barnett

Pete Barnett is a history docent at the Oakland Museum of California and a native of the state. His tours of the Museum emphasize the art and history of the California gold rush. He also visits elementary school classrooms with vials of gold, mining tools, and supplies used by the Argonauts as they travelled to California in search of "the elephant." He studied criminalistics at UC Berkeley and is a partner at Forensic Science Associates.
