Debra Dickerson

Debra Dickerson has been passionately involved in the cheese world for over two decades. She began her career as cheesemonger at Zingerman's Deli in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and worked for ten years as the US sales representative for Neal's Dairy Yard of London, bringing artisan cheeses from the English countryside to American shops. She now runs 3D Cheese with co-owner Diana Solari, an Oakland business that supports small dairy farms, such as Redwood Hill Farm and Creamery, by ensuring that artisan cheeses are marketed and sold in a way that honors cheesemakers. With Cowgirl Creamery/Tomales Bay Foods, Dickerson works on sustainability and sales. She is a board member of the American Cheese Society and a founding member of the Cheese of Choice Coalition, an organization that supports the production and sale of raw milk cheese.
