Alvin Buenaventura

Alvin Buenaventura is the editor of The Art of Daniel Clowes: Modern Cartoonist (Abrams, 2012), a monograph that accompanies the OMCA exhibition "Modern Cartoonist: The Art of Daniel Clowes." Buenaventura currently publishes comics and books with Pigeon Press; from 2003 to 2009, he published under the imprint Buenaventura Press. Buenaventura also edits the monthly comics section for McSweeney’s literary magazine The Believer. He divides his time between Oakland, California, and a remote mountaintop in Nepal.
