Sasha Archibald

Sasha Archibald is the project manager of the Oakland Standard. She worked previously in Brooklyn, New York as an independent curator and arts writer. She has curated exhibitions and coordinated projects at Momenta Gallery, Brooklyn; New York University Fales Library; Arcadia University Gallery, Philadelphia; City University New York Graduate Center; Artists Space, New York; Bronx Museum of the Arts; and the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art. As an editor at Cabinet magazine, she contributed many articles and, with Sina Najafi, edited Presidential Doodles (Basic Books, 2008), a collection of doodles by US Presidents.  She most recently worked as studio manager for the artist Fred Wilson. Archibald completed a self-designed MA in Humanities and a Certificate in Museum Studies from New York University, and a curatorial fellowship at the Whitney Museum of American Art Independent Study Program.
