Phat Beets Produce

Phat Beets Produce is an organization based in North Oakland that creates a more equitable food system by providing affordable access to fresh produce, facilitating youth leadership in health and nutrition education, and connecting small farmers to urban communities through farm stands and urban youth market gardens. Phat Beets runs weekly farmers markets at Oakland Children's Hospital, Saint Martin de Porres Catholic School, and Arlington Medical Center; they also run a CSA program, a weekly crop swap, and events on issues around food justice.
