Iso Rabins

In 2008, Iso Rabins founded forageSF, an organization that advocates foraging through public talks, tours, and a monthly food subscription service. forageSF's best-known venture, the Underground Market, was designed to give small local food vendors a start to their business, and eventually grew to feed over 50,000 people with 400 vendors, before it was temporarily closed by the Health Department in June 2011. The work of forageSF has earned local and national press from publications including the New York Times, Washington Post, Food & Wine, and Time Magazine.
