Georgeanne Brennan

Georgeanne Brennan is the co-founder of Le Marché Seeds, and is an award-winning cookbook author and food writer. She’s written over thirty cookbooks, including Potager: Fresh Garden Cooking in the French Style (Chronicle Books, 2000) and The Glass Pantry: Preserving Flavors (Chronicle Books, 1994), both finalists for the James Beard Award; her cookbook Aperitif (Chronicle Books, 2001) won a Julia Child Cookbook Award. In addition to writing cookbooks and food memoirs, Brennan contributes regularly to the San Francisco Chronicle, as well as to Bon Appétit, New York Times, Organic Gardening, and other publications. She runs a small cooking school, Provence in California, and co-founded the Annual Provence Writing and Cooking Retreat. She recently formed a consulting firm that specializes in changing school lunch programs.
